Bright and Cheerful Homes!

Christmas is 10 days away!
The tempo of preparation is increasing!

Our hopes to make our homes extra bright and extra cheerful may find some significant challenges as we stumble upon obstacles that could have us loose our holiday cheer.

Click here to access a new webpage on the subject of Bright and Cheerful homes that may help us keep our balance during this season and in the months ahead.

Ho, ho, ho! A fervent Advent to one and all.

Letter to All Friends and Family from the Prelate of Opus Dei

On occasion of the anniversary of the Founding on October 2nd the Prelate wrote about the experiences of St. Josemaria in 1928. He encourages us to grow in generosity with the help of our most blessed Mother along with recourse to Blessed John Paul II whose feast day is coming on the 22nd of October. Anniversary Mass for St. Josemaria

This year the Mass celebrating the Feast Day of St. Josemaria will be celebrated by Cardinal Wuerl at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC on Sunday, June 19, at 2:00 pm.

Make plans now to attend with family and friends. It is a beautiful experience to share with those who would be moved by a desire to do their best for God.

Allow plenty of time to meet and greet others after mass. Enjoy!
